Common Name: Blue Dwarf Siberian Pine
A remarkable large bushy, spherical evergreen conifer with blue-green needles in fascicles of five. Inconspicuous buds unfurl into lovely cones that add beauty to this shrub. Fruits are purple in summer that turn brown in fall. It typically grows 10 ft tall at maturity and spread 15 ft wide in compact, spreading habit. Bestt grown in full sun exposure in moderate moist, well-drained soil. Pinus pumila glauca is perfect in a rock garden or for small area.
