Common Name: Blauer Pfiff Korean Fir
Lustrous blue needles with whitish streaked underside held on short, horizontal branches. Needles are flat and dreary. This conical shaped tree bears blue-violet cones which give an impressive spiky appearance in the garden. Grows at slow rate with height of 5 ft tall and spread of 3 ft wide in spreading form. It performs best in full sunĀ but prefers cooler temperatures in rich,moist, acidic, well-drained soil. Best use as specimen, containers, rock garden and foundation.
