Bitter car models in Israel

The German car brand Bitter was born in 1969 when Erich Bitter, a former bicycle and race car driver, started looking for ways to build his own car. He tried to combine the elegance of Italian cars with real German quality for several years. As a result, he created his own car by borrowing several developments of the Italian Intermeccanica and adding some Opel features. Bitter’s first development was unvailed in 1971 and 2 years later the legendary Bitter CD, an aggressive and fast car with its own character, was released. Bitter CD was assembled until 1979 and a total of 395 cars were produced. Most of them are currently owned by private collectors.
