Columnar Eastern Red Cedar
Juniperus virginiana 'Taylor' is an upright columnar form and possibly the narrowest of the eastern red cedars. Discovered in Taylor, Nebraska as a chance seedling, this selection makes a great screen for tight spaces as well as a dramatic vertical element to any sunny landscape. A great substitute for Italian Cypress when designers need a narrow, vertical evergreen. Exceptional cold hardiness, but thrives in the UGA trial garden just north of the Florida state line.
