This Daihatsu Hijet got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1992 Daihatsu Hijet Jumbo is a kei truck that was imported from Japan to the US by the current owner in 2020. It is finished in red over a brown interior and is powered by a 659cc inline-three driving all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes fold-down bedsides, a sliding rear window, and a cassette stereo. This Hijet Jumbo is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of the current owner with import documents and a clean Tennessee title.
The Jumbo featured a larger cab compared to the standard Hijet, and this example is finished in red with silver, blue, and black body graphics. Additional features include a fold-down tailgate and bedsides, a sliding rear window, and dual side mirrors. Wear is present in the bed, and the condition of the paintwork can be viewed close-up in the gallery below.
Steel 12″ wheels are finished in black and wear Dunlop Grantrek tires. A spare wheel is mounted beneath the cargo bed.
Hijet Jumbo models feature an extended cab with added side windows, and this example is equipped with bucket seats upholstered in brown vinyl with striped cloth seating surfaces. Equipment includes a rubber floor liner, Hijet-branded all-weather floor mats, three-point seat belts, and a cassette stereo.
Instrumentation consists of a 130-km/h speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 31k kilometers (~19k miles), approximately 2k of which were added by the owner.
The 659cc inline-three is located under the rear of the bed, and an oil change was performed approximately 500 miles ago.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.
