This Daihatsu Hijet got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1997 Daihatsu HiJet iS is a right-hand-drive Kei pickup that was imported to the US from Japan in August 2022 and subsequently acquired by the current owner. The truck is finished in lavender with a blue front panel and is powered by a 660cc twin-cam inline-three paired with a three-speed automatic gearbox. Equipment includes a heater, a headache rack, fold-down bedsides, and 13″ JBW alloy wheels. An oil change and inspection were performed in preparation for the sale. This HiJet now shows 64k kilometers (~40k miles) and is offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of the owner, a retail dealer in Connecticut, with import documents and Connecticut registration.

This is a relist after the truck was previously listed on BaT in October 2022 and was withdrawn because of a scheduling mistake on our part.

Silver 13″ JBW alloy wheels are mounted with 165/65 Trideka tires, and a spare is stowed under the rear of the bed.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic gearbox. Corrosion is present on underbody components, additional photos of which are viewable in the gallery below.

The car does not have a title, as it is registered in a state that does not issue titles for a vehicle of its age. It is sold with its current Connecticut registration.
