This Daihatsu Hijet got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1998 Daihatsu HiJet is a right-hand-drive cab-over fire truck that was imported from Japan to the US by the seller in September 2023. It is finished in red over patterned gray cloth upholstery and is powered by a 659cc inline-three mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes body-color 12″ steel wheels, open-air rear seating, window rain guards, a spotlight, storage compartments, an Osaka Siren loudspeaker, and a cabin heater. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale. This HiJet fire truck shows 10k kilometers (~6k miles) and is now offered at no reserve in California with a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The right-hand-drive cab features bucket seats trimmed in patterned gray cloth upholstery, and they are joined by a color-coordinated dashboard and door panels. Toggle switches for the missing warning lights and water pump remain in place above the glove box door.
