This seed-grown Turkish Fir, from the Bolu-Kokez (Black Sea) region of Turkey. Abies bornmuelleriana has been the most outstanding fir species in our hot humid climate. Our 25 year-old garden specimen is now 25' tall, looking quite like our native Abies fraseri, which is intolerant of our heat and humidity.
