Comments: A strongly pendulous form growing 15' tall and wide. Needles are dark green year-round, 2-4" long, and persist for 3 years. Bark on young stems is smooth light brown changing to gray-brown and plate-like on older stems. 4-10" cones emerge green to purple ripening to yellow-brown in the fall. Exceedingly rare in the trade.
