Happy birthday to Donald Duck!
On this day in Disney history, Donald made his film debut in “The Wise Little Hen” Silly Symphony short. Over the years, he’s been a guest favorite at Disney Parks around the globe, whether it’s meeting him during a character greeting, spotting him in “Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade” or shopping for Donald gifts.

Donald Duck is definitely one of my boys favourites. They looove the old Donald cartoon shorts. My 2 year old giggles away, it’s adorable. Seeing Donald in Philharmagic is definitely always a highlight when we visit Disney World as well as meeting Donald himself! He is so cute in person :). Happy Birthday Donald!!
I hope this means there will be a lot more Donald Duck clothes to buy. For such a major character there’s a shocking lack of items that includes him. Every time I go to Disneyland hoping to get some cool Donald Duck jackets or shirts, I’m always disappointed. It’s always just the same two shirts every time and that’s it. Donald Duck clothes should have as much variety as Mickey!

Donald is my favorite, but where’s his new Disneyland 60th look? We were at the park a few weekends ago and got pics with everyone (including Daisy!), but not Donald!

Let’s not forget Philharmagic! Donald’s been a personal favorite of mine since I was little, so I was thrilled when they made him the star of Philharmagic. One of our favorite WDW stops!
Donald is the best 🙂 Last trip to Disneyland with my 6 month old, Donald went out of his way to make my little girl feel so special. While people were cutting in front of us to get their pictures taken,(understandably of course, who would pass on a picture with Donald) Donald went out of his way to waddle over to our daughter and spend a couple minutes playing with her. It was by far our favorite moment of the day and our little one was so intrigued with Donald 🙂 Thank you for going out of your way to provide that little bit of Disney magic.
