Summary
DescriptionJuniperus bermudiana 8.jpg |
English: Juvenile Bermuda cedar trees grow amongst the silvered bark of cedars killed in the blight. As the forest had been recovering for only several decades from centuries of shipbuilding (which had denuded much of Bermuda), when the blight struck, many of the 8 million trees lost were juvenile, rather than mature. |
