An attractive small tree, this native conifer is hardy and low maintenance. Upright in habit with spreading branches, its dense dark green foliage and clusters of cones make it a highly ornamental tree year round, ideal for garden or landscape use.Excellent for screening and hedges, it will perform best in full sun but tolerates light shade. It also produces quality timber which is resistant to fungal and termite invasion and is used for construction, fencing and telegraph poles. Drought resistant once established, it can be grown in any soil type. Water regularly to establish in dry and poor soils.
