Information disclosure is in full swing for the Milan Show in Italy, which opens on November 8.
Velocifero, which is based in its hometown of Italy and building a production system in China, will announce the price at the Milano Show, where the Jump will be unveiled for the first time, and is scheduled to be released in China, Europe, and the United States.
There are no plans to release it in Japan, but I want an EV like this!

The concept is as if the Grom were an EV.

Velocifero is a mobility company founded by the family of Italjet's founder, with a lineup that includes electric kick boats and e-bikes. It is an emerging brand with plans to produce 120,000 units in 2022. The company name, Velocifero, is the name of Italjet's scooter, launched in 1994, and it carries the roots of the company's founding.

The jump was developed by the same vehicle for the November 8 Mira Show and is likely to be the equivalent of a moped 2 class (51-125cc) in Japan. The naked style with 12-inch wheels front and rear and two vertical headlights is like a Honda Grom.

However, its impact is even stronger than that of the Grom. The unique configuration of the diamond frame and seat rails is directly integrated into the vehicle's exterior, and the vehicle is filled with the simplicity and futuristic feel that is only possible with EVs. A decade ago, this design would have ended up as a concept model, but the JUMP is a vehicle scheduled to go on sale soon.

VELOCIFERO JUMP. An Italian brand model produced in China. It has a rated output of 3 kW (approx. 4 PS) and a maximum output of 5 kW (6.8 PS), so it is classified as a light motorcycle (126 to 250 cc) in Japan.

HONDA Grom. The Grom has consistently used vertical headlights since its first generation. Designed in Thailand, it has a youthful, aggressive style that is unique among Honda vehicles.

Maximum speed of 90 km/h, 85 km range on a 5-hour charge

The Jump's motor has a rated output of 3 kW (approx. 4 PS) and a maximum output of 5 kW (6.8 PS), which is not high, but it delivers 172 Nm (17.5 kg-m) of maximum torque. Incidentally, the Yamaha E01, which is a Class 2 moped, has a rated output of 0.98 kW (approx. 1.3 PS), a maximum output of 8.1 kW (11 PS), and a maximum torque of 30 Nm (3.1 kg-m).

Its performance as an EV is announced to have a cruising range of 85 km at 45 km/h. The battery can be recharged from a household power source of 100-240V in 4-5 hours. Charging time is 4 to 5 hours, and the battery can be recharged from a 100 to 240 V household power source. The maximum speed is 90 km/h, and the maximum hill climbing gradient is more than 25 degrees.

It weighs 90 kg and measures 1830 mm in length, 12 kg lighter and 70 mm longer than the Grom.
The tire size is the same as the Grom's, 12 inches, but 30 mm narrower at the front and 20 mm narrower at the rear.
On the other hand, the inner tube diameter of the front inverted fork is 33 mm, larger than Grom's 31 mm.

There is no transmission, and the structure is ridden by a rear in-wheel motor, so there is no chain or belt for riding.
The ultimate simplicity of the chassis configuration makes it a very enjoyable ride. This is a machine that we hope will be introduced to Japan.

It is unclear whether the battery is a removable or built-in type, but the body configuration suggests that it is built-in.

The rear suspension appears to be mono-suspension with no links. The motorcycle name display under the seat is novel.

The front view is super slim. The front view is ultra slim, giving the impression that the car can run in a flutter.
