  • Evergreen shrub/tree, conifer, possibly 6 m (20 ft) high and 4 m (13 ft) wide in 10 years. Pyramidal growth habit.  Leaves linear, pointed, 1-3 cm long and about 0.3 cm wide, color varies from light green (spring) to yellow (summer) to golden yellow (winter).
  • Sun to light shade. Best color in full sun.  Favors well-drained soil and is drought resistant when established.  Responds well to trimming and can form a dense hedge.
