Abstract

This chapter presents the discussions on how nature and biomimicry are in the center stage as one of the solutions for achieving net-zero cities and climate neutrality by 2050. The chapter also depicts the conclusions derived from the book. It also discusses the tendency of office buildings developed away from integrating them with nature and illustrates global examples from Europe, Asia, and the MENA region. Finally, it draws the recommendations for the future of biomimetic architecture to create sustainable, regenerative, and livable cities in the age of COVID-19 and above all be resilient enough to adapt to climate change.
