Jackie Kennedy confronted psychiatrist about also treating Marilyn Monroe

JFK wasn’t the only person both these famous ladies were allegedly seeing.

Former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy reportedly confronted her psychiatrist after discovering that the shrink had also treated Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe — with whom her husband allegedly had an affair.

The Tinseltown bombshell was revealed recently in her newly released biography “Jackie: Public, Private, Secret” by J. Randy Taraborrelli, People reported.

According to the bio, the famous socialite had begun sessions with psychoanalyst Dr. Marianne Kris in the 1970s, partway through her tumultuous marriage to Greek shipping tycoon Aristotle Onassis.

They had reportedly been discussing “Mrs. Onassis’s ongoing PTSD” over John F. Kennedy’s assassination, among other issues, per session notes shared by Dr. Kris’ secretary Patricia Atwood.

Atwood said she came across these notes on her own, emphasizing that the shrink would never violate the doctor-patient confidentiality clause.

Nonetheless, it came to Jackie’s attention that Dr. Kris was also treating Marilyn Monroe — who allegedly had a tryst with her husband in the 1960s.

To Jackie, keeping this info a secret apparently seemed like psychiatric infidelity.

According to Taraborrelli’s biography, the incensed Onassis reportedly confronted her therapist, who declared that she “felt no responsibility” to spill the beans on other patients just as she wouldn’t rat on Jackie.

Dr. Kris even asked the New York native how the topic was “relevant” to their sessions, to which Jackie retorted, “How is that not relevant?”

Monroe and JFK’s alleged lustful liaison has become one of the biggest political scandals in US history despite never actually being confirmed.

The pair met four times between 1961 and 1962, according to Donald Spoto’s 2001 biography of Monroe, which states that the “Some Like It Hot” star had one sexual fling with the former president.

These meetings did not include the president’s 45th birthday gala, in which the “Seven Year Itch” actress famously serenaded Kennedy with a sultry rendition of “Happy Birthday.”

It was this iconic performance that helped fuel rumors of JFK and Monroe’s affair.

In fact, the alleged presidential nestwrecker, who allegedly had simultaneous, yearslong affairs with JFK and Robert F. Kennedy until 1962, even started seeing herself as a Second First Lady.

At one point, she even called Jackie to inform her about the affair, according to “These Few Precious Days: The Final Year of Jack with Jackie.”

The first lady, who was no stranger to her husband’s numerous infidelities, responded: “Marilyn, you’ll marry Jack, that’s great . . . and you’ll move into the White House and you’ll assume the responsibilities of first lady, and I’ll move out and you’ll have all the problems.”
