He is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as “The Most Watched TV Star in the World”.He gained this recognition due to his starring roles in the television series “Knight Rider” and “Baywatch”.
In the TV series Knight Rider, Hasselhoff never met the man behind the voice of the talking car K.I.T.T until 6 months into the series. They both met during Christmas party.
His first taste of acting was for theatrical drama “Peter Pan” in 1959 at the age of seven. From then on he always dreamt about having a career on Broadway.
He performed most of the stunts on his own in the movie “Starcrash.” During the first stunt scene he accidently knocked down a tooth of Italian stuntman.

Hasselhoff was married to Catherine Hickland during the Knight Rider TV series. Hickland later married another actor whose real name is Michael E. knight similar to Hasselhoff’s character name in the show.
He was cast as Micth Buchannon in the famous T.V series “Baywatch” from 1998 to 2000. This series became the longest running show to never win an Emmy Award.
