Coulter Pine (Pinus coulteri)

Coulter pine (Pinus coulteri) is a California-native tree, which is notable for its substantial pine cones; they are larger and heavier than those of any other species of pine tree. Synonyms include big-cone pine, bull pine, pitch pine, and widowmaker.
