JUNIPERUS CHI TRAUTMAN
Grower Notes:

Juniperus chinensis 'Trautman' is commonly referred to as Trautman Chinese Juniper. Selected by the late Herbert Trautman, it features a tall, narrow, upright pyramidal habit with bluish-green, coarsely textured foliage. Pale green, berry-like cones turn blue-gray in fall and add to its winter interest, attracting a wide assortment of birds.

Trautman Chinese Juniper is slow-growing and thrives in full sun in average, sandy, well-drained soils. Like all Junipers, it will not tolerate standing water. It can be drought tolerant once established. Trautman Juniper is reminiscent of an elegant Italian Cypress, but is hardier, thriving in much colder climates.
