John Cheever Promoted to Director at RevoluSun

After decades of business and industry leadership, and a historically productive tenure of Renewable Energy Project Developer at Revolusun, John Cheever has been appointed Director of the newly launched Project Empower, a 501(c)3 nonprofit foundation spun off from the charitable arm of Hawaii’s largest solar energy developer. Cheever is also the founder and president of Kuleana Microlending, founded in 2010. Beyond his impressive background in commercial solar development—which includes successful collaborations with schools, non-profits, businesses, and landowners—John's value extends through his "roll up your sleeves and get it done" approach. A former teacher at Mid-Pacific Institute and Punahou School, Cheever has inspired thousands of students over the years. He also served as the the Education Outreach Coordinator at the Blue Planet Foundation, where he led successful campaigns to educate the public about Hawaii’s unique energy challenges and opportunities.
