Adriatic Sea

The Adriatic Sea is warm enough for comfortable scuba diving; the average temperature ranges from 22-25C in summer and never drops below 13C in winter. The Croatian Adriatic coast is considered to be, and really is, one of the cleanest seas in Europe. This ensures high visibility while scuba diving, making it a wonderful diving experience. Although the Adriatic Sea is small, it hides some of the best diving sites. Adriatic is full of flora and fauna. Numerous species of fish, mammals, mollusks, crustaceans, echinoderms, plankton, algae, sponges, and other organisms inhabit it.

Because of this, the Adriatic Sea provides great opportunities for developing scuba diving tourism. Not to mention that Croatian Adriatic has many species found only here. Also, Adriatic sea tuna fish is one of the most valued tuna fish in the world, with the majority of tuna catch being exported the same day directly to Japan to be sold at its fish markets.
