Former Bond girl Caterina Murino swaps Casino Royale for the Grand Canal as she stuns in shimmering blue gown at the Venice Film Festival
Former Bond girl Caterina Murino looked the picture of glam as she posed for photoshoot at Venice Film Festival on Tuesday.
The Italian actress wowed in a dark navy silk dress as she took a range of shots across different settings.
Dressed to impress, the star's dress was made up of two layers, as a shimmery, beaded netted layer hung over the navy silk.
Embracing the coast, the 45-year-old posed in the sea, unafraid to let the bottom of her gown get wet as she beamed in the shallows.
Caterina shot to fame in 2006 when she starred as a Bond girl alongside Daniel Craig in Casino Royale.

The star played Solange who Bond seduces before she is tortured to death later in the film.
Posing for the snaps, the brunette wore her hair in loose waves as she showed a glimpse of her ample cleavage through the sheer material over her chest.
In other snaps, Caterina lay on the wet sand as she beamed for the cameras before running in the waves.
The actress is currently in at the Venice Film Festival as she is the master of ceremonies or 'godmother' for this years event.
The festival runs from August 30 to September 9 and as godmother, Caterina must attend to red carpet, award ceremonies and event.
She is also responsible for declaring the festival open at the Sala Grande of the Palazzo del Cinema on Wednesday, and closed 10 days later.
Venice’s choice of Caterina reportedly signals a desire to project a more international image onto the festival this year, according to Variety Magazine.
The 2023 Venice Film Festival is set to be a far more low-key affair than years past, as much of Hollywood opts to stay away for fear of breaching the SAG-AFTRA strikes.

The glitzy Italian event usually sees some of Hollywood's biggest stars grace the red carpet to promote their work.
However, this year only a handful of independent productions have permission to be promoted by their stars, with Venice confirming on Monday that Adam Driver and Jessica Chastain will still make appearances at the festival.
Since July 17, Hollywood has ground to a halt as members of the SAG-AFTRA union joined the Writers Guild Of America in going on strike over growing concerns of the use of artificial intelligence and streaming residuals.
According to Variety, a select list of films premiering at Venice have obtained SAG-AFTRA interim waivers since they are independent productions that have not been produced by AMPTP members.
Adam is expected to appear at the Lido to promote his role in Micheal Mann's Ferrari, where he plays the titular race car icon.
The Daily Mail's Alison Boshoff previously revealed last week that Adam would follow Florence Pugh last year and make a fleeting appearance at the festival.
Jessica is also set to attend following her role in Mexican director Michael Franco's film Memory, her first performance since her Oscar-winning turn in The Eyes Of Tammy Faye.
Also set to attend is Mads Mikkelson to promote his performance in Danish filmmaker Nikolaj Arcel's The Promised Land.

Caleb Landry Jones is also heading to Venice for his appearance in the Luc Besson film Dogman.
Sofia Coppola's biopic Priscilla will also see much of its cast attend the premiere, including Cailee Spaeny and Jacob Elordi, as well as Priscilla Presley herself.
While many Hollywood stars aren't expected to grace the red carpet, so far only one party has been cancelled, an Armani event in honour of Cate Blanchett.
Bradley Cooper, who wrote, produced stars in and directed Maestro, about the conductor and composer Leonard Bernstein, will not be in Venice to see possibly the defining film of his career premiere. It is by Netflix, who are a struck company.
A festival spokesman confirmed last month that he would not attend in solidarity with the strike by the actors union SAG-AFTRA.
