Bambusa nana  (Chinese Dwarf)

Dwarf Bamboo is distributed across Asia, America, and Africa. While not reaching the size of the largest bamboo species, which can grow up to 80 cm in thickness, they still exhibit their own charm with their dense foliage.

They thrive in moist soil of any type and can be comfortably used in both well-lit and semi-shaded areas. Their root structure is fibrous and tough, but they do not spread as rapidly as larger bamboo species.

They can withstand temperatures as low as -20 degrees Celsius. Dwarf bamboos are also species with high water requirements.
