Cedrus deodara 'Karl Fuchs'
Leaves are a silver blue with pendulous tips.
Common Name: Karl Fuchs Deodar Cedar
Another breathtaking-blue deodar, this one is a hardy pyramidal form selected from Pakistan with the fine-needled weeping-tipped branches of the species. This is a narrow variety of Himalayan cedar. New growth in the spring is a bright blue, that gradually fades to green. This creates a shimmering effect through most of the season. This tree will be the perfect addition to a yard where year round interest is needed. Growth Rate medium.
