Work continues on Spotify Camp Nou

The work on the stadium is going to schedule and the demolition of the third tier is almost complete, with the structure by the architects Francesc Mitjans, José Soteras and Lorenzo García Barbón taking centre stage

The work on the Spotify Camp Nou is continuing according to the Espai Barça schedule. Demolitions are under way in the stadium, whih the way we knew it is already part of history. Now, and after the demolition of the third tier, which is already practically finished, the structure designed by the architects Francesc Mitjans, José Soteras and Lorenzo García Barbón that has remained unchanged over time now looks very different, although the facade will remain part of the design of the future stadium and will be a historical element for all fans to admire.

The grandstand roof is now being completely dismantled and removed, ahead of the demolition of that whole section. Cranes are already in place on the forecourt, and the foundations of the new structure are already being laid.

Live coverage

As the club announced last July, FC Barcelona has placed three cameras in the Spotify Camp Nou so that all members and fans, can follow every second of the work in the stadium. The Barça website is streaming the whole thing live.
