Cedrus deodara - Cultivation Notes

This large conifer requires an open spot in full sun with plenty of space for spreading growth. Prefering a dryer soil cedar will grow on any decent soil that is not to droughty including chalky soils. Ideal as a parkland tree as a speciment tree, cedars take many years to look their best.
