Picea abies - Cultivation Notes

Spruce will tolerate any soil other than the very chalky soil or overly moist / wet. They require a spot in full but prefer the company of other trees and shrubs being well suited to mixed planting. This evergreen conifer will grow horizontally where it act as ideal ground cover so allow plenty of space for spreading.
