Podocarpus macrophyllus "Large Leaf - Tobe Garden" is a narrow leaved evergreen with large green leaves.  Podocarpus macrophyllus "Large Leaf - Tobe Garden" is a RARE, NEW RELEASE from our dear friend Dr. John Tobe.  About 40 years ago, John planted out a lot of Podocarpus macropohyllus seedlings in his southern Georgia garden and this one stood out from the rest of the crowd due to it's much larger than normal leaves.  Podocarpus macrophyllus "Large Leaf - Tobe Garden" has the largest leaves I've ever seen for this species.  Podocarpus macrophyllus "Large Leaf - Tobe Garden" makes a stunning impact in a garden where a bold, large growing tree is needed and would be awesome as a large growing screen.  Podocarpus macrophyllus "Large Leaf - Tobe Garden" deserves a name equally as good as the plant, and we are working on finding the perfect name now.
