Pinus parviflora ‘Goldylocks’ (Japanese White Pine) is a small evergreen coniferous tree of upright, spreading habit producing multiple layers and creating a lovely sweeping form. Its foliage of soft, twisted variegated blue-green needles is adorned with soft, golden highlights. A slow grower, 1-6 in. per year (2-15 cm), this golden Japanese White Pine is perfect as a garden accent.

  • Grows up to 8 ft. tall (240 cm) and 6 ft. wide (180 cm).
  • Performs best in full sun in medium moisture, well-drained soils. Plants prefer cool summer climates and dislike heat and humidity. Drought tolerant once established. Tolerates salt spray.
  • Easy to grow, easy to care for and rarely browsed by deer.
  • No pruning required.
  • Native to Japan, Korea.
