Thuja occidentalis 'Danica' is a low-growing, slow-growing dwarf conifer that grows in the shape of a bulb. The 'Danica' can reach a height of 125 cm (4 feet) and a width of 150 cm (4.5 feet), but it takes at least 20 years to do this!

The layered, vertically protruding leaf of this plant is yellow-green in the summer and changes colour in the winter to blue-green. The 'Danica' is hardy and evergreen and is a great, colourful addition to your garden!

Thuja occidentalis 'Danica' grows best on moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil in full sun or partial shade. Try to avoid full shadow. In hot and dry periods it is important to water the frequently and well!
