Hetz Columnar Juniper
General Information
Hetz Columnar Juniper is a moderate sized evergreen. It grows in a dense, narrow and upright overall fashion. It is a fast growing evergreen. Hetz Columnar is great in a variety of landscaping areas. Works as a screen, windbreak and even does well when planted in containers. It can be trimmed well into a variety of shapes for topiary uses. The foliage has a nice bright green color, providing a great year round appearance.
Additional Information
Juniperus chinensis ‘Hetzii Columnaris’ grows to a height of 12 to 15 feet, with a spread of 4 to 5 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 9. It does best in full sunlight. Hetz Columnar does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils. Once established, it has a good amount of drought tolerance.
