A:  Hi there Jane. Great question! Your zip code is in zone 8b per the USDA Hardiness zone map. The Amber Gold Arborvitae is winter hardy in zones 4 to 8. A:  The two answers given are not actually answers. There are two very different descriptions for this plants mature height and width. We all would like to know which one is correct. It can't be both.

A:  Research from other websites say 15ft by 3ft at maturity. I?m wondering if 6ft is the ?10 year growth size? conifer descriptions give? To be safe I?d assume 15ft at 10 years old. Check google for the tree trade name ?Jantar?
