Pinus contorta gallery, 2011

A few photos of Pinus contorta cultivars. Share any photos you'd like. There's a link below to last year's gallery.

Pinus contorta 'Chief Joseph'. One of my more established conifers(3rd Spring I believe in this spot), really pushing some solid growth now(5-7") and even has what looks like additional branching this year? Not seen this before in my gardens. Of course if you're not familiar with this pine, it's BRILLIANT gold in Autumn/Winter and early Spring. One of the best you can plant.

The newer growth.

'Taylor's Sunburst'. Brilliantly contrasting new growth. Very slow.
