A Few "Spiny" spruces!

Picea torano,..... It's been a long road to get this far. I acquired the plant as a 4 mm seedling from the "Biltmore Estate" when cotyledons were the only foliage.

Picea Martinezii.....Seed originally collected by "Institute of Forest Genetics, Placerville CA." at "El Butano", Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Good growth on "leader" this season with approx. 19 inches!


Picea chihuahuana,.....Seed from Callahan Seed, Medford Oregon. Plant/seedling grown by Forestfarm, Williams, OR. The leader is still elongating and should reach 20" plus.
