Pinus densiflora 'Jane Kluis' A slowly growing variety of the Japan red pine with dense, cushion shape. Foliage is light green with 2 needles per fascicle. At age of 10 plant reaches 0.3m high and 0.8m in diameter. Over many years it reaches 0.8m tall and 2m in diameter. Prefers a full sun, has low fertilization requirements. Recommended for small and medium backyards, Japan gardens, alpine gardens.
