Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Tonia' Very graceful cultivar of Hinoki cypress. Growth rate is slow, after 10 years reaches approx. 0.8m high. Over time reaches 2m high. Its irregularly, widely-conical shaped. Shoots are fan-twisted. Characteristic feature of the plant are creamy-white tints on dark green background of foliage. Prefers full sun, partial shade, shelter from wind, fertile soil, moderately moist or moist. Shrub is recommended for small gardens, planting in containers and rockeries. Can be used in topiary.
