Autumn Gold Ginkgo is a choice ginkgo selection if you are looking for a full tall shade tree with excellent fall color. Named for its amazing golden orange fall color it does well as a specimen shade tree in the front or back yard and will glow yellow/orange for weeks in the fall. If you've never seen a ginkgo leaf, they are one of the most beautiful leaves of any tree. They will add an exotic appeal to any garden or yard. Ginkgo trees grow a uniform light green in the spring and darken up slightly in the summer. In the fall ginkgo trees have consistent golden leaves Autumn Gold is one of the best of them all. The color is outstanding and can rival any other tree for fall beauty. Combine these with red maples, dogwoods, or a purple leave cherry for an amazing display.

All 'Autumn Gold' Ginkgo Trees are of a male selection - meaning they will not produce fruit. These trees are very hardy and have withstood the test of time. The ginkgo is literally 270 million years old, making it one of the most ancient and successful trees. When caring for these trees we recommend maintaining the usual mulch ring to protect the tree from elements, competing plants, and yard equipment for the first few years. Slow release fertilizer can be applied (per directions on the bag) in the early fall to give the tree a boost that will carry through to spring. See our care tab below for more details.

Autumn Gold Ginkgo Biloba Tree Doing Well!

Been planted for about 20 days now and starting to leaf out nicely. Very happy/pleased with this purchase for a number of reasons. 1. Tree was shipped at the time I requested; according to my note. I wanted to get it planted during a short break of warmer/dryer weather, and was able to. Also, I didn't want tree to sit over the weekend in a shipping facility (which was avoided). 2. Tree was packaged very well, with sufficient (just enough, per my experience) roots, plastic bag and plenty of decent ' potting soil' ensured roots were kept moist, and crunched up paper along entire tree to keep branches from getting broken (thank you!). Side note, this tree was well branched out throughout, and because Its job will not only be to look so very beautiful, but to also provide a wind screen (from (at times) very strong West winds) along with a well established Norway Spruce (next to it) for much of my front yard (to protect less 'built like a bigfoot' trees, haha). And all of those important branches - even the lower ones (that will help stop the winds) are doing fine. 3. Tree was 4 feet tall (from ground level to top tip); at the upper limit of indicated (thanks again). 4. Price was very good when compared with competitors; it just happened to be on sale (which helped me to go with a 'generally more expensive type of tree', and it came with free shipping. Only negative thing I can come up with is that I'm not able to include some photos of this beauty. Very pleased!!

Autumn gold ginkgo

There was a little damage to the tree in shipping, I sent them a picture and they said it wasn't going to be a problem and gave me a partial refund. I planted it 20 days ago and the bubs are starting to pop. I'm a happy man

Autumn Gold Ginko Tree

The tree appears healthy and was packaged well for shipping. The planting and care guidelines were the most thorough I have ever received with a plant purchase.
