He burst onto the scene as the leader of a genetically blessed crop of lifeguards, running in slow motion down a beach, all ripped torso, cool crop of coiffed hair and gleaming white smile.
And he hasn’t changed all that much. The tan, the locks, the bod – all are still there. There might be a couple of creases in his face when he smiles but, hey, David Hasselhoff is 70 and he’s come a long way since the show that made us all want to live the California dream.
As Mitch Buchannon he mentored fellow lifeguards, saved people and spoke words of wisdom. So it was only right and fitting that The Hoff celebrated his milestone birthday recently with several members of the hit ’90s show.
