A superb tall conifer from the Atlas region. Large pyramidal form, curving lateral branches. Moderate growth over the first few years, becoming more rapid. Rustic and resistant to parasites as well as pollution. Foliage is a remakable silvery blue colour, contrasting with its light grey bark. Cones are 5 to 7cm long. Tolerates chalky and dry soils. Attracts bees.
