Cryptomeria japonica 'Araucarioides', a cultivar of the Japanese Cedar, an evergreen coniferous tree found in Japan and nearby parts of China. The foliage of 'Araucarioides' is composed of small overlapping leaves, creating an almost rope-like effect reminiscent of Norfolk Pine (Araucaria excelsa) foliage.
