This fragrant evergreen, the ashe's juniper, is an attractive landscaping tree which produces heavy pollen that is detrimental to allergy sufferers. With dark green foliage, this tree can grow up to 30 feet tall. Female trees produce a dark blue pinecone that looks like a berry. The ashe's juniper is both heat and drought tolerant and is native to Texas.
