Thuja occidentals ‘Tunney's Pyramid’ 15' by 7' Some 50 years ago, a hobby plant breeder in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula found this seedling. Foliage like DeGroot’s Spire arborvitae. The name Tunney has some hidden meaning. The hobby horticulturist who selected the seedling was a nephew of Gene Tunney a famous boxer from the 1920s who beat Dempsey twice.
