Thuja plicata 'Whipcord' (Whipcord Western Red Cedar) - Another conifer with an interesting shape and color. Looks like a tropical grass or bamboo with it's dramatic fountain shape and vibrant green colour in summer. It takes on a nice bronze hue in winter as well. 2' tall and 3' wide when young but after many years forms a 5' globe. Best in zones 5-7.
