Goldilocks Hinoki Cypress
The Goldilocks Hinoki Cypress (Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Goldilocks') is a slow-growing, evergreen conifer with a distinctive, dwarf, rounded form that can reach up to 3-4 feet tall and wide. It has soft, golden-yellow foliage that turns more yellow in the summer and a little more green in the winter. The Goldilocks Hinoki Cypress is best suited for full sun to part shade and prefers well-drained soils that are kept evenly moist. It is a great choice for small gardens, rock gardens, and container plantings.
