Quantity:  
A large conifer to 40 m tall with a crown that is conical in young trees and pyramidal in older, and often horizontally spreading, with a flat top, in open situations. The short, needle-like, bluish leaves are held in dense clusters along long spreading branches. Cedrus atlantica is native to dry temperate forests in the Tell Atlas and Aurès mountains in Algeria and the High and Middle Atlas and Rif mountains in Morocco between 1000 and 2000 m. It is a popular ornamental tree that adapts well to a wide variety of temperate climates.
