Caterina Murino Wore Alberta Ferretti, Fendi Couture & Kiton During Venice Film Festival
Caterina Murino, the godmother of the 2023 Venice Film Festival, has been taking her role as Head of Glamour very seriously during this event, for which I will be forever grateful.
Following on from her breath-taking Atelier Versace gown, the Italian actress grace the red carpet on Friday (September 1) wearing an Alberta Ferretti high-low gown to ‘The Wonderful Story Of Henry Sugar’ premiere.
This was a beautiful example of how accessories can elevate the simplicity of a silhouette.
Sticking with black gowns from Alberta Ferretti for the ‘Poor Things’ premiere, the actress looked beautiful wearing a black column bustier gown.
Creating a style that is clearly inspired by vintage silhouettes, while ensuring that it doesn’t feel dated is a tough line to tread, but I think Alberta Ferretti mastered it.
After so many classic gowns, Caterina opted for something a bit more modern from Fendi’s Fall 2023 Couture collection for the ‘Maestro’ premiere.
I understand why Caterina didn’t wear the boots, but I love everything else about this look from the effortless drape to this maroon hue which is a gorgeous shade for her skin tone and hair colour.
I wasn’t excited about this Kiton suit which Caterina wore to ‘The Killer’ premiere on Sunday (September 3), until I saw the look without the blazer.
