A man was caught dealing drugs Friday inside the Macy's department store in Boston's Downtown Crossing, police said.Officers responded at 12:46 p.m. to a radio call for a shoplifter in custody at the store at 450 Washington St. Macy's security personnel said the man, later identified as Edison Arias, 29, of Dorchester, was dealing drugs inside the store. Officers viewed security footage of the drug transactions as well as the man attempting to steal a $40 shirt. Police said they recovered about $300 and 29 plastic bags of a brown powdery substance believed to be Heroin from Arias.Arias is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.
