Description
Juniperus Chinensis Kishu (Chinese Juniper Kishu) is like the Itoigawa and Shimpaku varieties a dwarf form and reaches a maximum height of 1 meter. Its foliage is reminiscent of the normal Juniperus Chinensis, but is denser and finer. Along with the Itoigawa variety, the Kishu variety is one of the most coveted and also most expensive junipers. The kishu juniper is very often used in bonsai design. In the mountainous regions of Japan, where this variety comes from, there are hardly any plants left due to intensive harvesting. Therefore, most of the specimens that can be found today are all specimens bred in special nurseries.
Seedlings and young plants between 2 and 4 years old and a size of 5-30 cm are offered here. With this size, beautiful bonsais can still be created according to personal taste.
