This 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is finished in dark gray metallic over black vinyl, and it is powered by a 351 Windsor V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes Magnum 500-style 14″ wheels, SportSlats rear window louvers, an Alpine stereo, and front and rear spoilers. The car was originally ordered through the Twin Cities District Sales Office and produced on June 20th, 1969, and it was acquired by the current owner in 2013. During prior ownership the engine and transmission were rebuilt, and modifications are said to include .030″ over pistons, a polished crankshaft, ported and polished cylinder heads with hardened valve seats, Pertronix ignition, and auxiliary gauges. The car was acquired by the current owner in 2013, and records from their ownership are included. This Mustang Mach 1 is offered on dealer consignment with a standard Marti report and a clean California title.

The selling dealer states that the car was refinished from its original Black Jade Metallic to the current dark gray metallic during prior ownership. Equipment includes factory-style black-out stripes, gold beltline stripes, and optional SportSlats rear window louvers. The selling dealer notes corrosion bubbles on the trailing edges of both doors, as well as nicks and blemishes from use.

Magnum 500-style wheels measure 14″ in diameter and are mounted with 215/70 Cooper Cobra Radial G/T raised white letter tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The high-back front buckets and rear bench seat are upholstered in black vinyl with Clarion knit inserts and red stripes complemented by simulated wood trim on the doors, dashboard, and center console. Black carpets are accented by red vinyl floor mats up front, and additional equipment includes a Sport Deck fold-down rear seat and an aftermarket in-dash Alpine stereo with rear mounted speakers. Fraying and tears are visible on the driver’s seat, and the dashboard-mounted clock does not work.

A wood-rimmed aftermarket steering wheel frames factory instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer as well as oil pressure and amperage gauges, and a Sun tachometer is affixed to the steering column. Supplementary coolant temperature and voltage gauges are mounted in the ashtray location. The five-digit odometer shows just over 50k miles, approximately 3k of which were added by the seller since 2013. True mileage is unknown. The removed factory steering wheel is included in the sale and shown in the gallery below.

Power is provided by a 351ci Windsor V8 that was rebuilt in October 2013, which is said to include a .030″ overbore with replacement pistons, a polished .010″ over crankshaft, ported and polished cylinder heads, hardened valve seats and replacement valve guides, a rebuilt carburetor, Pertronix ignition, and more as detailed on an included invoices. The seller notes that the car is equipped with a two-barrel carburetor rather than the four-barrel item noted on the air cleaner sticker.

The three-speed FMX automatic transmission was rebuilt and fitted with a rebuilt torque converter in 2013. Additional photos of the underside are provided and show the floors, suspension components, and more.
