It has had all basic maintenance recently performed by Midwest-Bayless Italian auto.
This car is Ohio titled, by the owner of Midwest-Bayless and will be an individual (not dealer) transaction.
This car has a modest 44K miles, and a clean bill of health from Midwest-Bayless. It was shown with a 2nd place finish at both the 2016 "Fiat Freak Out" and the 2016 Ohio "Italian Gathering".

The 1800cc carbureted engine runs great and gets super mileage. The chassis rides comfortably around town or on the highway. The 5-Spd manual transmission shifts perfectly in all gears. It has an extremely nice exterior and interior. This is a reliable, mechanically sound car.
You can spend an enormous amount of time, money and effort restoring a worn-out Lancia Beta to this level,
or you could begin enjoying this car right now!
Body and Exterior
The body has no collision damage or rust, and does not have any evidence of previous rust repair.
It was properly repainted (all brightwork removed, nothing oversprayed) by a previous owner over 20 years ago in its original color (Nero) with a very clean finish.
It has a few minor dings that can seen in the right light or when viewing at sharp angles.
All of the plastic trims and stainless bright work are in great condition. All lights and lenses are clear, unblemished and operational.
All original glass with no issues or blemishes.
Engine, Fuel, Ignition, Exhaust and Cooling System:
1800cc engine DOHC engine w/Weber 32-Series Carb.
New Timing Belt and Tensioner, along with Pertronix module to replace the original dual-points set-up.
All of the original USA pollution control items are still in place on the motor, and this system could become operational as soon as a V-belt to the air-pump is replaced.
The engine bay is clean and wiring un-hacked.
Long-tube exhaust header and new OE muffler installed.
The cooling system offers rock-solid temperatures and the fan works correctly. Fins are rust free. Heater valve and all controls work smoothly.
This car is fitted with factory issue Air Conditioning, and all components are in-place although system is not functional. It is suspected that a charge with R12 refrigerant is all it may need.
Interior / Top
The interior is extremely presentable. The only real blemish is the dashboard with cracks.
Door cards are straight and not water damaged.
Seats are in excellent condition with no tears.
Carpets are clean with no worn areas.
Moon roof and power windows work
All exterior rubber weatherstripping are original, in excellent, pliable condition.
Rear Trunk
Alloy wheel spare tire, with all carpets and shields in-place.
Transmission / Clutch / Driveline
The 5-Spd manual transmission is in excellent condition, and shifts flawlessly up and down with no synchronizer or reverse issues. Trans does not whine. Clutch works and feels fine.
Steering / Suspension / Tires / Wheels / Brakes
Ball joints, tie-rod ends, and control arm bushings are in good condition with no issues. All wheel bearings are solid with no hum or play.
Struts have correct rebound at all four corners.
Braking system has been fitted with fresh pads and stops effectively. Rear brake compensator valve has been bypassed by a previous owner.
Alloy 14" "FPS" wheels and tires are in good condition.
This car moves briskly, handles crisply, tracks straight, and is vibration / rattle-free
